About the Role
We’re building a standby roster of experienced Software Developers to support enterprise and government systems across Nunavut. Projects may include application development, system modernization, API integrations, cloud migration, and ongoing production support. Some roles are fully on-site; others offer remote or hybrid flexibility depending on security and project phase.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and scalable applications
- Write clean, maintainable code; follow best practices and coding standards
- Develop APIs and system integrations; support data exchange between platforms
- Participate in code reviews; debugging; and performance optimization
- Support upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiatives
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, DBAs, and Project Managers to deliver solutions on time
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in one or more languages; C#, .NET, Java, Python, or similar
- Experience with SQL and database integration
- Familiarity with cloud platforms is an asset; Azure, AWS, or similar
- Experience in public-sector or enterprise environments preferred
