Help IntelliStaff value residential; commercial and industrial properties across Nunavut for upcoming projects and planning initiatives.
What you will do
- Inspect and assess buildings and land in various communities
- Review blueprints; mechanical drawings and legal descriptions
- Check zoning; bylaw and building code requirements
- Analyse market trends and comparable sales
- Research court documents and public records as needed
- Prepare clear and defensible appraisal reports
What you bring
- AAIC or CRA designation; member in good standing
- Strong appraisal experience across multiple property types
- Excellent analytical; measurement and research skills
- Ability to work independently in remote locations
- Minimum 5 years of appraisal experience
Contract and perks
- 3 month contract; possible extension
- No fly in fly out; you stay in community for the assignment
- Housing; per diem and all work travel included
- Flights to and from your home base during major holidays are covered
- Travel throughout Nunavut is expected
