IntelliStaff is hiring experienced HVAC Technicians for long-term residential construction work in Nunavut. These roles focus on installation and maintenance of heating and ventilation systems that must perform reliably in some of the coldest environments in Canada.
You will live and work in one of Nunavut’s remote communities, embedded with your team and contributing to the long-term housing needs of northern families.
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and service oil-fired boilers, furnaces, ventilation systems, and associated components.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including hydronic preheat coils and heat recovery ventilation units (HRVs).

Perform diagnostics, testing, and balancing in cold-climate conditions.

Interpret blueprints and specifications for proper installation.

Collaborate with electricians and other trades onsite.
Qualifications

Journeyman HVAC Technician or Oil Burner Mechanic license.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential or remote HVAC work.

Cold-climate or Arctic system experience is a strong asset.

Ability to work in isolated locations and in extreme weather.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
