About the Role
We’re building a standby roster of Healthcare Project Managers ready to support health-focused initiatives across Nunavut. Projects may include digital health, EMR-related work, clinical workflow improvements, service redesign, and program implementations. Some roles are fully on-site; others are remote or hybrid depending on delivery phase and stakeholder needs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end project delivery; scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, change control
- Coordinate cross-functional teams; clinical, operational, IT, vendors, and leadership
- Develop project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and executive-ready updates
- Support procurement and vendor management; statements of work, deliverables, acceptance criteria
- Drive implementation readiness; communications, training support, cutover planning, go-live coordination
- Ensure documentation and governance stay tidy; because surprises are only fun on birthdays
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Health Administration, Business, IT, or related field
- 5+ years project management experience; healthcare/public sector preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills; comfortable with competing priorities
- Experience with project delivery methods; Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid
- Certifications are an asset; PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum
- Tools experience is an asset; MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Teams, SharePoint
