About the Role
We’re building a standby roster of experienced Enterprise Architects to support large-scale digital transformation and modernization initiatives across Nunavut. Assignments may include enterprise architecture strategy, application rationalization, cloud adoption planning, data governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps. Some contracts are fully on-site; others offer remote or hybrid flexibility depending on stakeholder engagement and project phase.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks; business, application, data, and technology domains
- Create current-state and future-state architecture models; roadmaps and transition plans
- Align IT strategy with business and operational priorities
- Lead architecture governance; standards, policies, and design reviews
- Support cloud strategy; security architecture; and integration planning
- Advise executive leadership on long-term technology investment decisions
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years progressive IT experience; including enterprise architecture leadership
- Experience in public sector or large enterprise environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks; TOGAF, Zachman, or similar
- Experience with cloud platforms; Azure, AWS, or hybrid infrastructure
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills
