About the Role
IntelliStaff is recruiting an Enhanced Health Supply Chain Consultant to support Nunavut’s healthcare operations. This position focuses on improving medical supply systems and ensuring effective, reliable access to essential health materials across the territory.
You’ll play a key role in developing better systems, refining procedures, and introducing new operational efficiencies that directly impact community health outcomes.
This is a long-term (three-year) opportunity to make a tangible difference while experiencing one of Canada’s most unique and culturally rich regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance the existing base operating system, including future planning for a digital inventory system
- Develop and implement an Emergency Action Plan for healthcare supply continuity
- Develop and update policies and procedures related to medical materials distribution
- Conduct stock catalogue refinement to improve accuracy and usability
- Validate and implement healthcare setting checklists to ensure quality and compliance
- Drive operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness initiatives
- Lead and document performance assessments for MMD (Medical Materials Distribution) operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, preferably within healthcare or public sector environments
- Strong understanding of inventory control, logistics, and emergency preparedness
- Experience developing operational policies and improvement strategies
- Experience with Oracle Materials Management module strongly desired
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel within Nunavut and work in remote settings
