We are hiring experienced Construction Foremen to oversee multi-trade teams on residential building projects in Nunavut. This is not a rotation position—you will be living and working in a Northern community where your leadership skills will make a visible, lasting difference.
This role is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on involvement and know how to guide a crew through a job safely, efficiently, and to spec.
Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations at active residential construction sites.

Coordinate multiple trades and manage scheduling, safety, and quality.

Interpret blueprints, adjust plans as needed, and communicate clearly with all parties involved.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building code regulations.

Maintain accurate progress documentation and support workforce planning.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential construction leadership roles.

Skilled in managing carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and general labourers.

Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Knowledge of northern construction methods is an asset.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
