What you will do
- Review plans and specifications for code and zoning compliance
- Inspect buildings at key construction stages
- Assess electrical; plumbing; mechanical and structural systems
- Perform technical status evaluations and system recertifications
- Support scope development and resolve technical issues
- Use testing and metering equipment for field inspections
What you bring
- 10 plus years of inspection; building science or related experience
- Certification in residential; commercial; plumbing; electrical; mechanical or general building inspection
- Strong knowledge of building codes and construction practices
- Ability to read drawings and assess completed work
- Comfort working in remote and occupied buildings
Contract and perks
- 3 month contract; possible extension
- No fly in fly out
- Housing; per diem and all work travel covered
