About the Opportunity
IntelliStaff is recruiting experienced financial professionals for upcoming contract assignments supporting Local Housing Organizations in Nunavut.
Responsibilities
- Provide interim financial management and administrative support
- Support accounting, budgeting and financial reporting
- Complete cash management and reconciliations
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
- Assist with inventory management
- Support year-end preparation and audits
- Develop financial policies, procedures and internal controls
- Identify and remediate financial, audit or compliance deficiencies
- Advise management and Boards on financial responsibilities and compliance
Qualifications
Experience in several of the following areas is preferred:
- Accounting and financial management
- Audit preparation or remediation
- Budgeting and financial reporting
- Internal controls and compliance
- Management or Board advisory services
- Public-sector finance
Relevant professional designations, Nunavut experience and public-sector experience are assets.
