About the Opportunity
IntelliStaff is seeking experienced Training and Education consultants to support an upcoming Government of Nunavut (GN), Department of Health Standing Offer Agreement.
This posting is not tied to a live or immediate contract. Consultants who respond will be considered for inclusion in a qualified roster. If IntelliStaff is successfully awarded the Standing Offer, we will actively pursue future training- and education-related assignments and propose rostered consultants based on alignment with Department of Health needs.
While inclusion on the roster does not guarantee work, it positions consultants for future GN Health engagements focused on strengthening knowledge, skills, and learning capacity across Nunavut.
Role Overview – Training & Education
Consultants on this roster may be engaged to provide training design, development, and delivery services for GN staff, decision-makers, and/or community members.
Assignments may include one or more of the following:

Developing training courses and/or programs for GN staff, leadership, decision-makers, and community members in Nunavut

Designing and delivering training through a range of modalities, including:
-
Face-to-face instruction
-
Distance learning (virtual, webinar-based)
-
e-learning technologies and blended learning models
-

Assisting with or leading the development and delivery of health-related learning modules using a train-the-trainer approach
-
Supporting educators, GN staff, and community members to effectively deliver training content
-
Developing educational products and learning materials as required (e.g., facilitator guides, participant workbooks, online modules, toolkits)

Ensuring training content is culturally appropriate, accessible, and adapted to Nunavut’s context
Areas of Training & Education Focus
Training and education initiatives may span a range of health system areas, including but not limited to:

Public and population health

Clinical and non-clinical health topics

Program implementation and service delivery

Community health education

Workforce development and capacity building
Ideal Consultant Profile
We are seeking consultants who can clearly demonstrate:
-
Experience designing and delivering adult education and training programs, preferably in health or public-sector environments

Experience developing training across multiple delivery modalities (in-person, virtual, e-learning)

Experience delivering train-the-trainer programs
-
Strong instructional design and facilitation skills
-
Experience developing educational products and learning materials
-
Experience working in Nunavut, Arctic, rural, remote, or Indigenous contexts (strong asset)

Cultural competence and awareness of Inuit societal values and northern learning environments
